Job summary

Hermanson Company in Hubbard, Texas is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to provide administrative support to the HR department and to the on-site construction project. This is a large, fast-paced mechanical construction site with both union and non-union employees.

The role requires strong attention to detail, customer service, sound judgment and collaboration. The environment is field-based, with on-site work boots, weather conditions, and a hands-on HR experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
• At least two-years related HR or Admin experience required.
• SHRM-CP or HRCI credential is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical & customer service functions for the HR department & project site leadership.
• Assists HR Generalists with new hire onboarding, including processing new hire paperwork, I-9s completion.
• Processes new hire background checks & drug screens.
• Creating & maintain employee files.
• Maintains & updates EEO data spreadsheets.
• Performs verifications of employment.
• Process terminations & conducts exit interviews.
• Assists with scheduling interviews & drafting offer letters, as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
