Job summary

Hermanson Company is seeking an on-site Human Resources Coordinator for the Clarksville, AR project. The role provides HR support for onboarding, HR systems, and employee relations on a large construction site with both union and non-union staff.

You will collaborate with project leaders, manage employee files, assist with interviewing, and ensure compliance. A bachelor’s in HR or related field plus 2+ years’ HR/Admin experience is expected, with SHRM/HRCI credentials a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field required or equivalent experience.
• At least two years related HR or Admin experience required.
• SHRM-CP or HRCI credential is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical and customer service functions for HR and site leadership.
• Assist with onboarding, including I-9s and paperwork.
• Process background checks and drug screens for new hires.
• Create and maintain employee files and HR records.
• Maintain EEO data spreadsheets and verifications of employment.
• Support scheduling interviews and drafting offer letters.
• Handle terminations and conduct exit interviews.
• Other HR duties as assigned.
