Job summary

Sun-Valley-Resort in Idaho is seeking an Employee Housing Maintenance Supervisor to oversee dormitory facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional living environment for residents and staff. You will supervise maintenance tasks, coordinate preventive programs, and respond to emergencies.

Work closely with Employee Housing staff to resolve requests promptly, communicate planned maintenance, and coordinate with vendors. This role requires leadership, a valid U.S.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of facilities maintenance experience with supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.
• Experience maintaining residential, dormitory, apartment, hotel, or institutional facilities preferred.
• Working knowledge of general building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance.
• Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve a wide variety of mechanical and building system issues.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate work across teams and vendors.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment, including emergency response situations.
• Experience using CMMS or similar work order systems is preferred.
• Flexibility to work varying a schedule, including weekends, holidays, and early or late shifts.
• Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods and lifting up to 55 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance across housing facilities and respond to requests.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance programs and emergency repairs.
• Inspect facilities and supervise contractors to ensure safety and quality.
• Communicate planned maintenance activities and provide advance notices for high-impact repairs.
• Assist in budgeting, vendor quotes, and long-term facility improvements.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
