Job summary

Sandpiper Hospitality is seeking an On-Site Manager to live on-site at the Columbus North property, guaranteeing flawless operations and guest satisfaction.

You will be the GM's key partner, overseeing weekend operations (Wednesday–Sunday), managing Front Desk, housekeeping and maintenance teams, and serving as Manager on Duty when required.

This role demands strong leadership, budget awareness, and adherence to brand standards and the Sandpiper values of Play To Win.

Qualifications

• Mandatory to live on site or within 30 minutes when on call.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing Front Desk, housekeeping, and maintenance staff.
• Experience with budgeting, financial management, or project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage Front Desk team, hiring, discipline, scheduling, training, mentoring, and annual performance reviews.
• Direct weekend work of front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance during weekends or when GM isn't on site.
• Assist GM with cash management, in-house balances, budgeting, and payroll approvals for direct reports.
• Ensure top-tier customer service; meet guests for feedback and resolve issues; ensure security for guests, staff, property.
• Ensure front desk operations and overnight on-call shifts comply with brand standards; provide relief duties as needed.
• Contribute to sales prospecting efforts to maximize hotel revenues and profits.
