Job summary

Sandpiper Hospitality is seeking an On-Site Manager to live at the hotel and oversee weekend operations and overnight on-call coverage. You will act as Manager on Duty, lead the Front Desk team, and ensure flawless operations while upholding Sandpiper’s standards and guest satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting and payroll oversight, and a focus on guest experience. You will collaborate with the GM on financial controls and revenue growth, under the Sandpiper value of “Play

Qualifications

• Mandatory to live on site OR within 30 minutes of the hotel when on call.
• Hospitality management experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Front Desk team and oversee weekend staff, including hiring, discipline, scheduling, training and annual performance reviews.
• Direct weekend operations and provide coverage for front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance when GM is not present.
• Assist GM with cash management, in-house balances and budget controls including payroll approval for direct reports.
• Ensure highest standards of customer service, meet guests, monitor feedback and resolve issues promptly; ensure security of guests and property.
• Ensure all front desk operations, overnight on-call shifts, and procedures comply with brand standards; provide relief duties as needed.
• Contribute to sales efforts to maximize hotel revenues and profits.
