Job summary

Wyandot Memorial Hospital is seeking an IT Support Technician to join the Information Technology Department. This full-time, on-site role supports hospital desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals, with a schedule Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

and an on-call rotation for after-hours support. Under the Network Administrator, you will install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software, maintain security, backups, and antivirus, and assist staff with access and password resets.

Qualifications

• Prior IT support experience is required.
• Knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Healthcare IT experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end users.
• Assist with user account setup, password resets, and access permissions.
• Install, configure, and update operating systems and applications.
• Maintain antivirus protection, system security, and data backup procedures.
• Educate staff on cybersecurity awareness and IT best practices.
• Support meeting and conference room technology such as projectors and video conferencing systems.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and inventory of IT equipment.
• Collaborate with IT team members and leadership to support system improvements and technology initiatives.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
