Job summary

Morris County Hospital is seeking a full-time IT Technician to support the hospital's IT systems, including EHR, medical equipment integrations, and communications infrastructure. The role is on-site, Monday–Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with occasional call time to ensure reliable operations.

You will work with the Network Administrator to install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and networking hardware, while ensuring HIPAA compliance and data security.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years IT support experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Office 365.
• Familiarity with HIPAA data security and privacy requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support for hospital staff and systems.
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, printers, and networking equipment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot networks to minimize downtime and ensure security.
• Assist with EHR and healthcare software training and support.
• Document actions taken and keep equipment inventory up to date.
