Job summary

DCH Health System is seeking a Desktop Support Technician II to support Windows PCs, hardware, and peripherals at multiple patient care facilities. This on-site role requires hands-on equipment handling, imaging, BIOS patching, and adherence to HIPAA and IT security policies.

The technician will engage in issue reproduction, escalation where needed, and daily ticket updates while contributing to knowledge base and on-call rotation. Prior health IT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates / Technical degree in Computer Science or related field with 1 year of relevant work experience.
• HS diploma / GED with IT Certifications and 2+ years of relevant IT Desktop work experience.
• HS diploma / GED with 3+ years of relevant IT Desktop work experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, manage, and support Windows PCs & laptops, printers, scanners, and other endpoint devices.
• Install and manage desktop hardware on wired/wireless networks with DHCP/Static IP.
• Install approved software using deployment systems or manual methods.
• Proactively improve IT performance and restore service in collaboration with stakeholders.
