Job summary

Reworld is seeking an H&S Manager to lead health and safety across five Houston area facilities. This role focuses on workforce development, safety training, and compliance with state and federal laws, using best practices to prevent injuries and incidents.

You will implement policies, conduct safety analyses, and ensure proper documentation and audits, while coordinating training and certifications for staff. The position requires on-site presence and some after-hours support.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of H&S management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of OSHA 1910 and 1926, or related state safety and health regulations.
• Working knowledge of Title 33 Maritime Security regulations.
• Bachelor's degree, ideally in safety and health or a science-related field.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred.
• Ability to travel as required.
• Experience managing and mentoring company teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including training, presentations, and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Be on-site regularly, with occasional after-hours and weekend emergency calls.
• Maintain regulatory reporting with OSHA and local/state agencies.
• Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures.
• Develop Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and PPE requirements.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and corrective actions.
• Manage injury and workers' compensation processes.
• Maintain safety records and training logs.
• Coordinate training programs and certifications for personnel.
