Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to travel on short notice 5-10%.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with plant management to address Environmental, Health & Safety issues.
• Conduct on-site Health & Safety audits/inspections.
• Manage Workers Compensation claims and investigations.

Skills

Safety experience in a manufacturing environment

Communication skills

Bilingual in Spanish

Computer proficiency with MS Office

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety or related area

Certified Safety Professional
