WHC Energy Services, LLC seeks a Health & Safety Manager for the Facilities sector, based in Lafayette, LA (or The Woodlands, TX). You will lead H&S programs, coach teams, and ensure compliance across projects, driving a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include implementing standardized safety activities, mentoring staff, and collaborating with operations to manage risk and regulatory requirements in oil & gas construction environments.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in OHS or related field preferred; CSP/certification considered an asset.
• Minimum 5+ years in H&S for oil & gas construction; leadership experience required.
• Experience developing and implementing H&S management systems and incident investigations.

• Implement standardized H&S activities across projects meeting policy and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and be the single contact for H&S activities, supporting project teams.
• Mentor a competent H&S team and provide ongoing coaching and development.
• Monitor performance, maintain records, analyze trends, and drive corrective actions.
• Oversee hazard assessments, audits, near misses, and incident investigations with root-cause focus.
• Coach employees and supervisors on policies and safe work practices.
• Maintain knowledge of H&S laws and standards; ensure compliance across operations.
