Job summary

Sitreps 2 Steercos is seeking a General Manager in the Washington, DC area to own the operating system of the business. You will manage a full team, report to platform leadership, and partner with the founder to scale growth and integrate acquisitions.

The role starts with performance discipline—pricing, service delivery, and back-office efficiency—then expands to new markets and tuck-in acquisitions under your leadership.

Qualifications

• Full P&L ownership as GM or equivalent in a trade or blue-collar services business of comparable size or larger.
• Operating seat in current or most recent role; consulting or banking background allowed but not last job.
• Proven ability to drive accountability in a sales team with targets, cadence, and pipeline discipline.
• Experience raising performance while preserving culture within an established team.
• Strong financial command; ability to read P&L, model levers, and defend numbers.
• Willingness to be on-site in the DMV area every day.

Responsibilities

• P&L Ownership: own revenue, gross margin, EBITDA; build budget and pricing decisions.
• Sales Leadership: set targets, manage weekly pipeline and cadence, ensure accountability.
• Operations: run dispatch, service delivery, installs, procurement, and receivables.
• People: assess team, develop leaders, recruit gaps, make personnel decisions.
• Founder Partnership: partner with founder, translate field instincts into repeatable processes.
• Growth: after base performance, pursue new markets and acquisitions; lead integration.
