Job summary

Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support fuel cell products in electric lift trucks, performing preventative maintenance and resolving breakdowns at a client site.

You will install and service fuel cells, report breakdowns, order parts, and maintain fuel cell systems while interacting with customers and truck operators. Ideal candidates have strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently, with excellent communication and safety

Qualifications

• Three+ years of direct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and operate a vehicle safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and fleet evaluations at a location.
• Perform field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades.
• Provide on-call and emergency support as required.
• Procure tools, equipment, and parts for service.
• Maintain safety procedures and documentation.
