Job summary

Expeditors is seeking an on-site FTZ operations professional in Olathe, KS, to manage documentation and data flows for complex transactions at a customer facility. You will coordinate with brokers and on-site teams to meet daily deadlines and ensure compliance with FTZ processes.

You will handle inventory control, product classifications, and data updates in SAP/CAT, and train relevant staff on FTZ compliance. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with US Customs Brokerage Services.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must not require future sponsorship for employment Visa.
• Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize throughout the workday.
• Strong organization skills.
• Analytical with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Comfortable working at a customers facility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and completion of FTZ documents (e.g., 214’s) using data provided by Honeywell.
• Work with broker and on-site teams to ensure smooth flow of data elements and paperwork to meet daily and weekly deadlines.
• Facilitate successful execution of complex transactions using training or experience; Honeywell personnel will review transactions before finalization.
• Fluent in all aspects of FTZ inventory control and recordkeeping systems (data entry, reporting, and analysis).
• Assign correct classification for products not listed in the master parts database.
• Work internally with engineers and Honeywell compliance to obtain missing shipment data.
• Update Honeywell’s operating system (SAP or CAT) with missing shipment details or other compliance information.
• Provide training to relevant parties (broker, Honeywell staff) regarding FTZ compliance.
