Job summary

CS Recruiting in Olathe, KS is seeking a day-to-day operations and customer support specialist for Freight Brokers and assigned accounts. You will assist with load creation, data entry, and maintaining accurate shipment information in the TMS, while communicating shipment updates to customers and carriers.

A high school diploma is required; logistics or customer service experience preferred. You will collaborate with multiple Freight Brokers to ensure on-time pickups and revenue-generating

• Comfortable collaborating while supporting multiple Freight Brokers and customer accounts.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational and customer support for Freight Brokers and assigned customer accounts.
• Assist with load creation, data entry, and maintaining accurate shipment information within the TMS and brokerage systems.
• Communicate with customers regarding shipment status, pickup and delivery updates, and service-related questions.
• Track and monitor freight to help ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
• Coordinate appointments, paperwork collection, and shipment documentation.
• Assist Freight Brokers with carrier onboarding and compliance documentation.
• Manage incoming calls, emails, and customer requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Help resolve shipment issues and communicate updates to customers, carriers, and internal team members.
• Support Freight Brokers with day-to-day activities that contribute to customer satisfaction and revenue-generating brokerage operations.
