Trinity Services Group Inc. is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director to oversee a large on-site jail facility’s food service operation. You will report to the Food Service Director and lead a team of food service workers to plan, prepare, and distribute meals while maintaining safety and compliance.

The role emphasizes leadership, adherence to food safety standards, and ongoing staff development, with benefits and opportunities for growth within a military and veteran friendly employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of supervisory experience in food service.
• Three years of experience in food service.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with food service management systems.

Responsibilities

• Guide, train, and manage the facility's food service operation.
• Hire, orient, train, and issue corrective action to team members.
• Develop positive connections with clients and communicate needs.
• Oversee quantities of food prepared and served per menu.
• Maintain inventory in advance of planned menus.
• Ensure proper storage of food items.
• Maintain serving schedules to meet menu specs safely.
• Ensure sanitary environment per food service and Health Dept codes.
• Responsible for state inspections of food service operation.
• Perform other duties as needed.
