Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Director to manage a single-site operation in a correctional facility. You will lead the kitchen team, oversee food preparation, training, and safety compliance while reporting to the District Manager. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, adherence to sanitation regulations, and continuous staff development to ensure high-quality meals for inmates in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; must be 18+.
• Minimum five years of management or supervisory experience in food service.
• ServSafe Certification is required.
• Experience in kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
• Knowledge of basic accounting and ability to complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food quantities prepared and served per site plan.
• Hire, orient, train, and issue corrective actions to team members.
• Review payroll bi-weekly.
• Ensure staff training for safe job performance.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and planned menu schedules.
• Ensure proper storage of food items and sanitation standards.
• Maintain onsite reports of daily/monthly finances and activity.
• Coordinate state inspections of food service operation.
• Maintain ServSafe Manager certification.
• Other responsibilities as needed.
