Job summary

Scientific Games is seeking a Field Service Technician to service lottery retail locations. You will perform installs, removals, and preventative maintenance, and provide training to customers on equipment and software.

Expect travel to multiple retailer sites and a focus on delivering reliable customer service while maintaining equipment uptime. The role requires a high school diploma, valid driving record, and the ability to lift and move heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• Background check, drug test, and clean driving record required.
• Able to travel overnight if needed.
• Able to drive a non-CDL delivery truck.
• Familiar with MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Troubleshooting computer software and hardware.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.
• Exceptional customer satisfaction skills.
• Respond to customer/leadership requests and feedback promptly.
• Self-starter with motivation and ability.
• Organizational and time management skills that enable effective multitasking.
• Strong judgement and problem-solving skills to minimize downtime.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings as needed.
• Available to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift, install and move large equipment (35 pounds or more).
• Occasional ladder climbing.

Responsibilities

• Complete service calls at lottery retailer locations.
• Install, remove, and maintain equipment at sites.
• Provide training and preventative maintenance to customers.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Troubleshoot communications within retail locations and report issues.
• Record service call data and coordinate with management.
