Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Georgia, USA, seeks a Site Liaison Engineering Lead to act as the primary on-site interface between field operations, engineering teams, and customer contacts. You will apply systems thinking to resolve field issues, coordinate changes, and drive on-site execution to meet schedule and safety requirements.

You will lead configuration change processes, coordinate staffing and resources for statements of work, and mentor Responsible Engineers.

Qualifications

• Must have a STEM degree with extensive military/professional experience.
• Experience supporting avionics, data centers, or communication systems in field/depot environments.
• Experience managing configuration and change processes (CCB) across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage numerous concurrent actions.
• Active Top Secret clearance (with recent background investigation) and ability to obtain SAP clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site technical liaison between operations, engineering IPTs, and customers to resolve field issues.
• Lead intake, technical review, and submission of CCB packages; assess risk and provide implementation guidance.
• Manage cross-functional action items and CRs while tracking status and performance metrics.
• Provide mentorship to Responsible Engineers during modification design, verification, and implementation.
• Deliver technical briefings and status updates to customers and program leadership.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resources for statements of work; approve modifications and closures.
• Produce and review technical publications and change documentation; champion change-implementation processes.
• Support troubleshooting of data center, network, and communication system issues in field environments.
• Must work full-time, on-site with travel up to 25%.
• Strong written and verbal communication and technical briefing skills.
