Job summary

General Atomics Systems Integration, LLC (GA-SI) is a provider of military and commercial engineering services. This position leads teams in installation, operation, maintenance, repair, and modification of assigned equipment, troubleshooting, and coordinating training and product briefings with customers and vendors.

The role acts as on-site company representative with customers, ensures technical quality, and supports planning, scheduling, and travel to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field and six or more years of progressive technical experience in aviation maintenance.
• Must understand aviation maintenance practices and possess leadership skills including organizing, planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads.
• Ability to resolve supervisory and technical problems and act as on-site spokesperson.
• Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills for interfacing with others.
• Customer focused, self-initiated, team oriented, and willing to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Guides and trains customers in operation, maintenance, and inspection procedures.
• Analyzes equipment failures to determine cause and corrective action.
• Advises on design changes to improve efficiency or reduce costs.
• Implements preventive maintenance programs and maintains records.
• Coordinates off-site logistics including parts shipments and support.
• Participates in planning and development of HR to ensure talent availability.
• Acts as local on-site company representative with customers.
• Ensures compliance with laws, regulations and operating procedures.
• Maintains productive and safe working environment.
