Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a skilled field engineer to analyze and troubleshoot complex systems in customer-facing environments. The role requires independent on-site work, frequent travel, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.

You will conduct product training, lead on-site activities, and interface with product teams to resolve challenging issues while supporting critical programs for national security missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM with 5 years of relevant experience; Master’s with 3 years; PhD with 0 years (additional 4 years may substitute).
• Experience supporting, troubleshooting, and analyzing complex technical systems in field/customer-facing environments.
• Ability to identify technical issues, determine root cause, and develop effective solutions.
• Ability to represent organization as on-site technical point of contact with customer organizations.
• DoD Secret clearance and current U.S. passport are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical analysis of product implementations per customer specifications.
• Troubleshoots technical problems and recommends actions to resolve issues.
• Conduct technical training and product briefings with customers.
• Act as local on-site representative to customers’ organization.
• Perform start-up testing and customer training on features and maintenance.
• Provide the technical interface with product level integrated product teams.
• Provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems.
• Contribute to completion of specific programs and projects.
• Represent the organization in solving difficult technical issues.
• Provide direction to Field Technicians.
