Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is hiring an entry-level leadership Site Manager 1 to oversee site operations, safety, quality and cost objectives. The role directs all phases of the program from inception to completion and requires managing daily site activities and a growing team.

The candidate should have a manufacturing background with degree(s) and be prepared to obtain a US government clearance. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with manufacturing experience as specified.
• 3–5 years managing in manufacturing or related environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and customer service skills; effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of assigned location program objectives from inception through completion.
• Responsible for site specific technical statement of work / performance and overall site operations.
• Manage day-to-day activities including timesheets, performance evaluations, facilities, safety, security and daily production.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and career development to all site employees.
• Ensure adherence to Northrop Grumman and PS Human Resources policies; coordinate with OA and Site 2 Manager.
