Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking a Field Supervisor to guide day-to-day field execution on assigned projects. You will work closely with the Superintendent, HS&E, and project teams to maintain safe, efficient progress in line with plans, schedules, and Ledcor safety standards.

You will monitor subcontractor performance, coordinate field activities, participate in safety planning, and support incident reporting and investigations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary, trade, technical training, industry certification, or equivalent experience is an asset.
• Three or more years of construction experience as a Foreman, Lead Hand, or in a similar field supervisory role.
• Experience in underground construction, telecommunications, utilities, technical services, or a related project environment is preferred.
• Solid understanding of construction practices, drawings/documents, schedules, cost awareness, and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field activities, ensuring work is completed safely and in alignment with project plans and Ledcor safety requirements.
• Promote a strong safety culture through daily hazard assessments, toolbox talks, safe work planning, and incident reporting support.
• Monitor field progress, production, locates, restoration plans, and quality to keep projects on track.
• Supervise subcontractor performance, including safety compliance, schedule commitments, production reporting, and quality of work.
• Build positive working relationships with project teams, subcontractors, clients, municipal representatives, landowners, and other stakeholders.
