Job summary

Ledcor Group is seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to lead day-to-day field activities on assigned projects, coordinating with the Superintendent, HS&E, and project teams. You will ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in line with plans and Ledcor safety standards.

This hands-on, site-based leadership role requires strong communication, accountability, and the ability to balance safety, quality, production, and stakeholder coordination in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary, trade, technical training, industry certification, or equivalent experience is an asset.
• Three or more years of construction experience as a Foreman, Lead Hand, or in a similar field supervisory role.
• Experience in underground construction, telecommunications, utilities, technical services, or a related project environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project plans, schedules, quality standards, and Ledcor safety requirements.
• Promote a strong safety culture through daily hazard assessments, toolbox talks, safe work planning, and support for incident reporting and investigations as needed.
• Monitor field progress, production, locates, restoration plans, and quality requirements to help keep projects on track.
• Supervise subcontractor performance, including safety compliance, schedule commitments, production reporting, and quality of work.
• Build positive working relationships with project teams, subcontractors, clients, municipal representatives, landowners, and other stakeholders.
• Support access coordination, field-level issue resolution, and clear communication with the Superintendent and project team.
• May perform other related duties as assigned.
