Job summary

Ledcor Group seeks an experienced Field Supervisor for Ledcor Technical Services to oversee day-to-day field execution on assigned projects. You will work with the Superintendent, HS&E, and subcontractors to keep work moving safely and to schedule, quality and Ledcor safety standards.

You will coordinate field activities, monitor subcontractor performance, support incident reporting and investigations, and help resolve field-level challenges that impact productivity or timelines on a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary training is an asset.
• 3+ years in construction in a foreman/lead hand or similar supervisory role.
• Experience with underground construction, telecommunications or utilities is preferred.
• Strong understanding of drawings, schedules, cost awareness and quality standards.
• Excellent planning, communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field activities safely and in line with project plans.
• Promote safety culture through hazard assessments and toolbox talks.
• Monitor progress, production, locates, restoration plans and quality.
• Supervise subcontractor performance including safety and schedules.
• Foster positive relationships with project teams, clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate access, resolve field issues, and communicate with the Superintendent.
