Job summary

Hoffman Construction Company seeks a Field Superintendent to lead large hi-tech fabrication projects on-site near Amarillo, TX. You will report to the Project Superintendent and Construction Manager and collaborate with field superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to deliver complex facilities from start to finish.

Responsibilities include maintaining schedule, enforcing safety, coordinating multiple subcontractors, resolving design issues, and aligning work with local codes and site

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction experience.
• OHSA 30 Certification.
• Experience on large industrial and hi-tech fabrication projects.
• Education in materials and methods of construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities with other superintendents, field supers and subcontractors.
• Supervise multiple subcontractors and craft employees.
• Maintain and adjust project schedule daily.
• Manage and abide by all safety protocol.
• Provide resolution to design and constructability issues.
• Respond to client requests and issues with technical resolutions.
• Interpret and implement installations per local permits, codes and site specs.
• Support cost estimates with field conditions and scope data.
• Facilitate contractor activity to ensure contractual performance.
• Assist with staffing and provide clear verbal, written, and electronic communication.
• Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
