Job summary

Hoffman Construction is seeking a Field Superintendent to lead on a high-tech manufacturing facility near Boise, ID, ensuring completion through planning, execution, and safety. The role is field-based, reports to the Project Superintendent, and collaborates with subcontractors and the project team to meet objectives.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in large-scale construction, OSHA 30, a relevant engineering/construction degree, and strong knowledge of mechanical installations.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of combined construction experience.
• Large-scale industrial/high-tech project experience required.
• GC experience preferred.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree as listed or equivalent field experience.
• Background in mechanical construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities with superintendents, field staff, and subcontractors.
• Supervise multiple subcontractors and craft workers.
• Maintain and adjust project schedule daily.
• Enforce safety protocols and site rules.
• Resolve design and constructability issues.
• Respond to client requests with technically grounded solutions.
• Interpret installations per codes and site specs.
• Provide field data for cost estimates.
• Coordinate contractor activity to meet contractual obligations.
• Assist with project staffing and resource planning.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
