Job summary

Hoffman Construction Company seeks a Field Superintendent to drive the completion of a hyper-scale data center near Childress, TX. The role leads layout, planning, and execution, reporting to the Project Superintendent and coordinating with subcontractors and the project team on site.

The position demands safety leadership, integrity, and strong collaboration with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners, including swing/night shift work on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years of combined construction experience.
• Large-scale industrial and/or high-tech project experience desired.
• OHSA 30 Certification.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Education background in materials and methods of mechanical construction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities with other superintendents, field superintendents, and subcontractors.
• Supervise multiple subcontractors and craft employees.
• Maintain and adjust project schedule daily.
• Manage and abide by all safety protocol.
• Provide resolutions to design and constructability issues.
• Respond to customer/client requests and develop resolutions using technical expertise.
• Interpret and implement installations complying with codes and site specs.
• Provide field condition data for cost estimates.
• Facilitate contractor activity ensuring performance per contracts.
• Assist with staffing and work with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
