Job summary

Hoffman Construction is seeking a Commissioning Field Superintendent to lead our commissioning field team and manage startup activities for large, high-tech projects at Claude, TX. You will coordinate with design professionals, clients, subcontractors, and trades to ensure successful startup, QA/QC, and safe operation of complex systems.

• Experience with designing startup procedures and coordination with trades
• Ability to read construction documents and manuals
• Experience with QA/QC programs and submittals
• Strong communication with owners, architects and vendors

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning startups and coordinate with subcontractors
• Review startup schedules and adjust project timelines
• Manage QA/QC programs and ensure compliance
• Schedule QC Specialists and coordinate onsite inspections
• Facilitate startup meetings and document decisions
• Ensure safety and readiness of systems for operation
• Train Owner's personnel in operations and maintenance
• Review submittals and RFIs for accuracy and functionality
• Organize and file project records and training materials
• Communicate clearly in written and verbal form
