Hoffman Construction seeks a Project Engineer to join the on-site Engineering Department on our Childress, TX project. You will provide technical and administrative support through the project lifecycle, coordinating with project team members, design professionals, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to resolve field coordination issues.

Reporting to the Program Engineer, you will help drive milestones while upholding safety, quality, and constructability standards.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of project engineering experience in commercial building construction.
• Deep understanding of construction means and methods, trade sequencing, and commissioning workflows.
• BS degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience coordinating with design professionals and subcontractors.
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings and construction documents.

Mansioni

• Lead or support meetings with area managers, design team members, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Interface between area managers and subcontractors to resolve field coordination items.
• Review and interpret design drawings, construction documents, technical manuals, and quantify materials.
• Coordinate civil, architectural, and structural (CSA) systems within the project scope.
• Assist with training client personnel in operations and maintenance of CSA elements.
• Review shop drawings, product data, and submittals; cross-coordinate for constructability.
• Generate, receive, and distribute RFIs.
• Distribute change documents and field directives.
• Support BIM coordination and clash detection.
• Participate in QA/QC activities, pre-functional testing and start-up.
