Job summary

Vertiv Field Technician in the Dallas area supports start-up commissioning, integration, emergency service and troubleshooting of 480VAC bus duct systems (iMPB, HPB, TOB) and metering communications, plus mechanical repairs. You will build rapport with customers and co‑workers, coordinate with CRC, supervisors and managers, and drive safety compliance while delivering timely communications and timecards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ASMET certification is preferred.
• 1+ years of hands-on electrical environment experience.
• Basic training in electrical theory and technologies.
• Basic knowledge with electrical/electronic test equipment and fundamentals.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret documents.
• MS Outlook, Word and Excel proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Customer‑First Mindset and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist in start-up commissioning, integration, emergency service and troubleshooting of 480VAC bus duct systems.
• Maintain rapport with customers, co-workers, sales reps and others as appropriate.
• Communicate continuously with CRC, Supervisor and direct manager.
• Evaluate operating conditions of equipment and respond to emergencies.
• Provide accurate timecards and expense reporting; drive continuous improvement.
• Follow safety policies and procedures and work outdoors in varying environments.
