Job summary

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is seeking an On-Site Field Service Technician to diagnose and repair Canon equipment, troubleshoot mechanical, software, and network failures, and provide efficient, accurate service to customers according to Canon standards.

This full-time on-site role offers a 3.5 days on, 3.5 days off schedule (one weekend day), weekend bonuses, night shift differentials, and daytime training with after-training shift flexibility; travel is required and a 50 lb lift is expected.

Qualifications

• Hold a High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Capable of functioning in a 24/7 environment and shift work.
• Ability to travel with valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active >50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
• Maintain working knowledge across multiple product groups and perform troubleshooting.
• Meet customer expectations with efficient, responsive field and on-site maintenance.
• Accurately maintain field service reports, expense reports, and Canon property.
• Provide guidance to less experienced technicians and manage technical information responsibly.
• Resolve escalated technical or customer service issues across assigned territories.
