Job summary

Tokyo Electron America, Inc. seeks an on-site Field Service/Start-Up Engineer II to deliver technical support, installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance for customers in the Portland area.

You will document activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and train customers on safe equipment use. The role requires strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to travel frequently and adhere to safety and quality standards while upholding CSR

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant industry experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support to customers and resolve issues promptly.
• Install, repair, and maintain equipment per company guidelines.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Document service activities and maintain records.
• Collaborate with Service Manager and teams to implement improvements.
• Train customers on safe operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Travel to customer sites and address issues, often with short notice.
• Uphold safety, quality, and CSR principles in daily work.
• Maintain professional, customer-focused relationships.
