Job summary

TOKYO ELECTRON AMERICA, INC. is seeking a Field Service/Start-Up Engineer II to provide on-site equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance under moderate supervision. You will deliver timely service, document activities, and ensure customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate with Engineering and Quality Assurance, train customers on safe operation, and travel to customer sites as needed, while maintaining a strong focus on safety and CSR principles.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year in field service.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; solid documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support to customers and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Perform equipment installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance per guidelines.
• Carry out equipment inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
• Accurately document service activities, reports, and customer communications.
• Collaborate with the Service Manager and team to implement improvements and best practices.
• Train customers on safe, effective use of equipment and basic troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot simple issues with cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA).
• Promote safety and quality culture in daily operations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and product enhancements.
