Job summary

TOKYO ELECTRON AMERICA, INC. in Manassas, VA seeks a Field Service/Start-Up Engineer II to perform equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance with on-site customer support.

Under supervision, you will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment, document service activities, travel to customer sites, and train customers on safe operation, while upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of relevant industry experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Semiconductor industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support to customers and resolve issues.
• Perform equipment installations, repairs, and maintenance per guidelines.
• Carry out equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Document service activities and create service reports and records.
• Collaborate with Service Manager and team for process improvements.
• Train customers on safe and effective use of equipment and basic troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot simple issues with cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA).
• Maintain safety and quality in all service activities.
• Travel frequently to customer sites, sometimes on short notice.
