Job summary

Veeco is seeking an ambitious Field Service Engineer to learn Veeco’s technology and drive customer satisfaction through expert support. The role covers installation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of Veeco Wet Processing equipment across North America.

The successful candidate will engage with customers, perform on-site service, and report activities while traveling up to 85% of the time. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical area; minimum 2 years experience; military training welcome.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, upgrade, testing, warranty, and repair per safety protocols.
• Isolate and resolve equipment malfunctions and take corrective action.
• Assist with new processes and designs.
• Build relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Serve as onsite contact for equipment and field-related questions.
• Document tool actions and field activities in reports.
• Adhere to safety and confidentiality policies.
