Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a field service professional for on-site work in Baltimore, MD. The role includes customer-facing duties, system operation support, and routine maintenance with FDA compliance requirements.

Travel up to 30% may be required, with strong emphasis on safety and accurate reporting. The candidate should have an engineering technologies background or relevant military/high-tech experience, English fluency, and proficiency with common office and technical software.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in an Engineering Technologies field of study or 2 years of prior applicable experience in military or high-tech industry.
• Must be able to work at heights above 20 feet or in cramped spaces.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Customer-focused attitude and ability to troubleshoot with technical drawings and root-cause methodologies.
• Intermediate knowledge of tooling: torque wrenches, gauges, calipers, and electrical test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and knowledge per Varian guidelines for safe operations.
• Provide visible customer support and assist operation of the system.
• Serve as liaison with customer on technical/administrative matters.
• Perform operational quality checks and planned maintenance timely.
• Provide accurate field service reports and complete required training and certifications for FDA compliance.
• Use internal software such as Microsoft Office, SAP, Salesforce, Siemens PLC GUI, and Varian software.
• Support other field service site roles as needed.
