Job summary

Via seeks an Associate General Manager to lead daily onsite operations in Baton Rouge, ensuring safe, reliable, and accessible transportation for riders. You will guide a team of local field operators, drive continuous improvements, and coordinate with city partners to meet community goals.

You will manage driver scheduling, PTO, and performance conversations while leveraging data to optimize service and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-6 years of operations management experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to relocate to Baton Rouge area.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily onsite operations of our service to ensure safe, reliable, and accessible transportation for riders.
• Make real-time decisions about fleet, driver supply, compliance, rider needs, and issues to maintain excellent service.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle for drivers: scheduling, PTO approvals, inquiries, performance conversations, and policy adherence.
• Coordinate driver work schedules to ensure adequate vehicle availability to meet demand.
• Serve as operations liaison between city partners, drivers, unions, community leaders, and local organizations to realize community goals.
• Use data and technology to diagnose service performance and implement efficiency improvements for rider experience.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies in service operations.
• Lead and develop a motivated driver team, fostering collaboration and energy.
