Job summary

Via is seeking an Associate General Manager to lead on-site operations in the Florida region. You will manage a team of local field operators, drive continuous improvements, and ensure safe, reliable transportation for riders.

You will make real-time decisions on fleet, driver supply, compliance, and service quality, while coaching drivers and coordinating with partners to meet demand. This is a fully in-person role requiring 4–5 onsite days per week, with occasional early hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–6 years of operations management experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily onsite operations of our service to ensure safe, reliable transportation for riders.
• Make real-time decisions about fleet, driver supply, compliance, rider needs, and issues to maintain service quality.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle for drivers: scheduling, PTO approvals, inquiries, performance conversations, adherence to policies.
• Manage driver work schedules to meet demand and ensure appropriate vehicle availability.
• Act as the operational bridge between city partners, drivers, unions, and local organizations to align goals.
• Use data and technology to diagnose problems and implement efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company policies and regulations.
• Lead, coach and develop a driven driver team and foster a collaborative environment.
