Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in Wichita, KS seeks a Field Engineer – Core to support Advanced Facilities projects across Industrial & Manufacturing sectors. You’ll actively participate in safety plans, perform on-site tasks with a crew, learn company standards, and build strong relationships with foremen, journeymen and subcontractors.

Preferred is a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering, plus 0–2 years of construction experience.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to perform work accurately and on time.
• Strong communication, verbal and written.
• Proficiency in MS Office; layout skills beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in project safety plan and culture.
• Works with crew to complete self-perform tasks on site.
• Learns company standards for building processes and techniques.
• Builds relationships with trades, foremen, journeymen and subcontractors.
• Lears and applies Lean practices in daily activities.
