Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group in Wichita is seeking an entry-level construction professional to join a high-performing team. You will support project teams on-site, learn safety and quality plans, and gain exposure to estimating, procurements, and documentation.

The role emphasizes Lean practices, collaboration with foremen and subcontractors, and development of technical skills. A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field or equivalent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience at entry level construction is acceptable.
• Knowledge of Lean process and construction technology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learns and participates in safety and quality plans and culture with mentoring others.
• Participates in project QA/QC planning for quality of tasks.
• Supports estimating and change management including quantity take-off and subcontractor proposals.
• Works on site with the project team to support monitoring crew size, hours, materials, quantity and equipment.
• Prepares documentation, reports, and coordinates meetings across the project team.
• Keeps drawings and specs updated with the latest information and tracks procurement logs.
