Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Technician for an on-site role at a Lynchburg, VA retail property. The position is entry-level with potential growth in the engineering field, supporting a small facilities team and handling routine building maintenance tasks.

The role requires 1–2 years in related work, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfort with ladders. Schedule includes 8 am–4 pm or 11 am–7 pm shifts, with on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of related work experience in repair/maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry).
• Trade school, union training or college is desirable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with ladders up to 30 feet.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team in maintenance and repair of building systems.
• Perform general maintenance including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing or painting.
• Complete work orders in Prism Building Engines with proper documentation.
• Maintain tools and supplies in a clean, safe condition.
• Work under Facility Manager and Operations leadership; participate in safety training.
