Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep client facilities safe, reliable, and operating efficiently. You will troubleshoot and repair building systems, assist with installations and moves, and coordinate with vendors while documenting work orders and labor in the CMMS.

This role involves hands-on tasks in a commercial environment with daily alignment to safety policies. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of relevant maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of commercial building or facilities-maintenance experience.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting building equipment.
• Familiarity with CMMS software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment, complete repairs, and respond to work orders and service requests.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance deficiencies and propose corrective actions.
• Perform general building maintenance (ceiling tiles, painting, room/event setup, customer-service requests).
• Assist with equipment installations, moves, furniture modifications, and workspace reconfigurations.
• Maintain accurate work-order documentation and labor tracking in a CMMS.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors performing maintenance and repair work.
• Support front desk, mailroom, and client-specific operational requests as needed.
