Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is hiring a Maintenance Technician for an on-site role in Fredericksburg, VA. The position supports the engineering team in daily maintenance and repair activities in a large Class A medical office building.

The role offers growth opportunities in the engineering field, with a schedule of 10am-6pm, Monday to Friday, plus rotating on-call. Candidates should have 1–2 years of related maintenance experience and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related repair/maintenance experience.
• Trade school, union training or college is desirable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use ladders up to 30 ft.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engineering team with maintenance and repairs.
• Perform general maintenance (carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting).
• Complete work orders in CMMS and document service activities.
• Maintain tools, parts, and supplies in clean, safe conditions.
• Collaborate with Operating Engineers and Chief Engineers.
• Participate in safety and operations training programs.
• Support on-call or emergency response as needed.
• Handle other projects as assigned.
• On-site presence required.
