Radisson-Hotel-Group in Kalamazoo is seeking a Venue Operations Supervisor to lead daily event technology and operations at our venue. You will coordinate staffing, oversee equipment deployment, and serve as the on-site point of contact for clients and presenters.

This role requires 3+ years in event technology or live event production, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in event technology, venue operations, hospitality, or live event production.
• Experience leading technical teams or coordinating event operations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily event operations including setup, execution, and tear down activities.
• Coordinate staffing assignments, labor deployment, and event schedules.
• Supervise technical staff and ensure adherence to departmental standards.
• Serve as an on-site point of contact for clients, presenters, and venue personnel.
• Conduct pre-event reviews and assist with operational planning.
• Coordinate equipment allocation and technical resource deployment.
• Monitor event execution and proactively address operational challenges.
• Escalate technical, staffing, or customer service concerns as necessary.
