Job summary

Greenleaf Hospitality Group in Kalamazoo, MI seeks a Director of Event Technology (Audio/Visual) to lead strategy and execution across venues including Kalamazoo Event Center, Kalamazoo Country Club, Radisson Plaza Hotel, and Wings Event Center.

You will build a scalable A/V technology program, oversee a production-ready team, drive guest experiences, and collaborate with marketing, operations, and executives to align technology with business goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in event technology, broadcast production, or live event leadership.
• 10+ years leading and scaling high-performing teams.
• Experience in arenas, convention centers, hospitality, sports, or large venues.
• Deep knowledge of audio, video, lighting, broadcast, streaming, and event IT systems.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the long-term event technology vision and roadmap across all GHG venues.
• Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of audio, video, lighting, broadcast, streaming, digital signage, and event IT systems.
• Manage system integrations across venues and platforms.
• Oversee vendor relationships, contracts, and system procurement.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing event technology and production team.
• Lead major technology projects from concept through execution.
