Job summary

YMCA of the Rockies is seeking an Event Staff member at Snow Mountain Ranch to coordinate conference and event setups, including chairs, tables, AV equipment, and refreshments.

The role also ensures the cleanliness of meeting spaces, handles snow removal, and supports the Food Service and housekeeping teams as needed. Candidates should be physically capable and able to work a flexible schedule year-round.

Qualifications

• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and move equipment as needed.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to get in and out of vehicles up to 100 times per day.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit superior guest service and professional interactions.
• Plan and prioritize daily workloads efficiently.
• Set up guest meeting spaces and meet guest needs.
• Operate and troubleshoot on-site audio/visual equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public spaces and restrooms.
• Assist Food Service with refreshments and catering as needed.
• Provide office reception support.
• Perform snow and ice removal in assigned locations.
• Deliver items to guests upon request.
• Maintain department equipment and vehicles and report maintenance concerns.
