Job summary

YMCA of the Rockies in Granby, CO is seeking an Assistant Center Services Manager to lead AV operations and oversee event setup for a high-volume conference and retreat center. You will supervise seasonal staff, train on AV equipment, and coordinate room configurations to ensure flawless program execution.

The role requires hospitality experience, strong customer service, and ability to manage multiple events with precision while maintaining safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of hospitality experience.
• AV equipment knowledge including mics, mixers, projectors and sound systems.
• Excellent customer service and guest relations skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
• Interpersonal and communication skills with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Train, manage, motivate and mentor seasonal staff and team leads.
• Assist with hiring/onboarding Center Services staff and AV responsibilities.
• Oversee event setup orders, AV configurations and refreshment deliveries.
• Maintain AV systems, inventory, maintenance, and procurement within budget.
• Coordinate cleaning of meeting spaces and related areas; support housekeeping when needed.
• Ensure safe operation and compliance with driving rules for YMCA vehicles.
