Job summary

Encore Global in Nashville, TN is seeking a Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment while ensuring customer satisfaction. This role reports to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology.

You will handle on-site setup, operation, and breakdown; assist guests, troubleshoot equipment, and follow company processes. A high school diploma is required, with an Associate’s degree preferred; 1 year of CS/hospitality and AV experience are desired;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• A valid driver’s license required for team members that may operate company vehicles.
• DOT requirements may need to be met depending on location.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• All training and certifications must be completed within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Equipment operation: set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment.
• Customer service: exceed guest and client expectations and maintain positive relationships.
• Technical ability: troubleshoot and resolve equipment/software issues.
• Systems knowledge: follow processes, enter data, and communicate with staff and vendors.
