Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks an Experienced On-site Equipment Rental Program Manager for First Equipment Company division. You will plan, manage, and execute on-site equipment rental programs and train staff, coordinating with project teams and vendors.

Role requires 6+ years in construction rentals or logistics, strong vendor and project management, and proficiency with Wynne RentalMan and Coupa. Travel is required; salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited program and minimum of 6 years of experience in construction rentals, logistics, equipment, or warehouse management.
• Working knowledge of construction equipment, jobsite logistics, and equipment maintenance requirements.
• Working knowledge of financial principles, P&L, cost control, and budget forecasting.
• Active listening skills and responsive with strong follow-up practices.
• Familiar with equipment rental software (Wynne RentalMan) and P2P systems (Coupa).
• Experience with implementing continuous improvement concepts (5S or Lean).

Responsibilities

• Serve as point of contact for multiple and complex project teams and on-site rental vendors to understand, confirm, manage and implement equipment needs.
• Visit project sites to establish presence with stakeholders to manage on-site equipment requirements, maintenance, and transition of equipment.
• Contribute to preconstruction efforts, including client and rental vendor interviews, bidding, leveling, and award bids.
• Manage vendor equipment costs and forecast earnings; communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Contribute to cost control, budgeting, and forecasting for equipment operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and timely communication with stakeholders and on-site vendors.
• Support end-user system troubleshooting related to rental software and inventory/contract management.
• Monitor utilization of rental equipment and accuracy of invoices; maintain vendor relationships.
